There is no greater pleasure for me
than to practice and exhibit my art

Bildi, designing between crafts and graphic industry
Celebrating 15 years of the studio’s trajectory deserved an exceptional action. For this reason, we created an exhibition at La Panera Centre of Art to showcase the projects that have defined the character of the studio, reviewing its trajectory up to the present day. The exhibition is in itself a design exercise: design of the space, design of the structures, graphic design of the exhibition and communication.

Making clients visible
The exhibition helped us to build up the loyalty of the studio’s past and present clients, making their products visible and highlighting them, or by constructing the exhibition itself with the products of our clients, as exemplified in the case of the Trígonos structures.

MiniPanera
The exhibition includes a space for children where they can experiment with a manual press and some Lego® pieces hacked for the occasion that allow them to create and print graphic works at the moment, getting a souvenir of the exhibition.

Intervention in the Art Centre
To stablish the boundaries between the Bildi exhibition and the rest of the exhibitions at the Art Centre, we produced a graphic intervention to indicate the limit of what is “design” (Bildi) and what is “art” (art exhibition) ... who will dare to cross the line between design and art? Is design art? What is the sense of a design exhibition in an art centre?
