Administradors Festa major 2008

The annual local festival of Vilafranca del Penedès is a project that encompasses many different graphic applications in diverse styles for use in a variety of contexts. All of them need to be coordinated, so it’s essential to define a set of graphic variables that can be combined to create a series of rich and diverse elements. For the 2008 edition, the variables we established were the circle – a symbol of eternity and eternal return – and a broad palette of colours that serve as an abstract representation of each festival group and popular dance. Finally, the typography was given a low profile to avoid drawing attention to it as a graphic element and thus enhance its legibility.
